Wilts & Dorset was formed in 1915 operating services around Salisbury and central Wiltshire. In 1972, the company was merged with Hants & Dorset resuming its original identity in 1983 when National Bus Company operators were split into smaller units. The company was acquired by Go Ahead in 2003 and has recently launched a network of services in the Bournemouth and Poole area branded More.
