Trent
Trent Motor Traction are based in the city of Derby with services covering
most of central Derbyshire and east Nottinghamshire. The Trent empire expanded
in 1972 with the acquisition of the Buxton area services of North Western. The
company is one of the few former NBC operators not to have been acquired by a
major group.

Trent acquired Leyland Nationals in large numbers during the
NBC years, including some dual door examples. 496 is seen at Castleton Bus
Station in late 1985 after arriving on a service from Sheffield. |
