Fareway of Liverpool
Fareway of Liverpool was established by a group of ex-Merseyside employees
and ran services between Liverpool and Kirkby. The company was subsequently
taken over by MTL (Merseyside's successor), although buses ran with MTL Fareway
fleetnames for a period.

Problems in obtaining Leyland Atlanteans in the early
seventies led Merseyside PTE to order 50 Bristol VRTs with East Lancs
body. 2120 (GKA 72N) passed to Fareway and is seen at the Pier Head on 22
April 1987. |
