The following are a selection of London pictures which never made it on to
Southbus before.

Leyland Titan T265 (GYE265W) approaches Camden Town with a
route 24 journey in 1987. This bus is now with Whippet Coaches of
Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire. |

Metrobus M166 (BYX166V) at Queens Park Station on 8 July
1988 shortly after arriving from South Harrow. This bus was new in
November 1979 and was withdrawn (from Willesden Garage) in January 2001
having spent most of its working life in North West London. |

Metrobus M864 (OJD864Y) at Willesden Junction station in
1988. This bus was new in May 1983 and sold to F.E. Thorpe in May 2000. |

Metrobus M906 (A906SUL) at East Acton in 1988. This bus was
new in September 1983 and withdrawn in November 2000, subsequently seeing
further operation with Coakley, Motherwell before being sold to the London
Bus Export Company, Chepstow. |

London Buses established its Harrow Buses operation as low
cost unit in 1987 based at Harrow Weald garage. Metrorider MR40 (E140KYW)
is seen in the red and cream livery in Harrow town centre on route H14 to
Northwick Park in 1988. |

A batch of Metrobus Mark IIs were also acquired for the
Harrow Buses operation. M1460 (E460SON) is seen in Harrow town centre in
1988 - this bus is currently in service with Reading Buses as their 460. |

Leyland National LS424 (BYW424V) in Harrow on route 114 to
Mill Hill Broadway in 1988. |

Metrobus M1245 (B245WUL) in Harrow town centre in 1988. This
bus remained in service with First London into 2003. |

London United M187 (BYX187V) at Heathrow Airport Central in
September 1989. This bus was new in December 1979 and was withdrawn in
August 2000 before being exported to Ireland. |

Also visiting Heathrow is London Country South West SNB349 (UPB349S),
new in January 1978. (September 1989). |

Metrobus 822 (OJD822Y) at Heathrow in September 1989. This
bus was new in 1983 and was transferred to London General at privatisation.
It was withdrawn in 2000 and sold to T.M. Travel Chesterfield via Ensign. |

East London Leyland National LS33 (KJD533P) was new in July
1976. It is seen here in Leytonstone High Road in early 1990 working a
route 108 journey from Wanstead to Lewisham via Blackwall Tunnel. The bus
was later transferred to Fulwell and Kingston before withdrawal in March
1991. |

London Forest Leyland Titan T360 (KYV360X) heads a row of
three at Chingford Station in June 1990. |

East London Leyland Titan TN15 T430 (KYV430X) seen at
Leytonstone Harrow Green. Route 58 had been diverted via this point
because of road works in Cann Hall Road in early 1990. |

Selkent Leyland Titan TN15 T815 (OHV815Y) in Bermondsey,
November 1990 working a route 47 journey to Catford. This bus was new in
July 1983. |

new in March 1983. |

Bexleybus Leyland National LS135 (THX135S) and Leyland Titan
TN15 T952 (A952SYE) outside Bexleyheath Garage in 1990. |

Leyland Titan TN15 T796 (OHV796Y) in Bexleyheath in 1990.
Route 229 once ran between Woolwich and Orpington but had been truncated
at Foots Cray (the site of Sidcup Garage) by this date. The route now runs
between Thamesmead and Sidcup. |

Bexleybus Leyland Olympian/Northern Counties L264 (E901KVR)
seen in Bexleyheath in 1990. The bus was new in 1987 L264 was the first of
an uncompleted order for GM Buses and moved to the North of England when
the Bexleybus operation ceased in 1991. The Bexleybus livery was based on
Eastbourne Buses. |

Grey Green 913 and 917, Volvo B10Ms with East Lancs B41F
bodywork purchased for route 210 between Finsbury Park and Brent Cross.
The buses are seen at Stamford Hill in 1991. |

London United M457 (GYE457W) at Heathrow Central in January
1991. New in November 1980, this bus later passed to Arriva for services
based in Horsham, West Sussex and converted to single door. |

London & Country Leyland National 355 (JOX477P) at
Heathrow Central in January 1991. This bus was converted to a Leyland
National Greenway in February 1994 and re-registered JIL2195. |
