The Greenwich peninsula is created by a meander in the Thames just to the
east of the Isle of Dogs. The main landmarks include the Millennium Dome and the
southern exit of the Blackwall Tunnel. This is a selection of photographs taken
on the peninsula during Spring 2005.

bus is a Volvo B7TL with Northern Counties bodywork and was new in March

London Central MD4 (V4GMT) passes Sainsbury's at the Greenwich Peninsula
shopping park pursued by a sibling. These buses were originally purchased
for services to the Dome from Charlton and Greenwich stations. These buses
are DAF SB220s with East Lancs Myllennium bodywork and are
seen on 16th April 2005. |

Stagecoach TA17946 (LX53JYJ), a Dennis Trident with Alexander bodywork
at Greenwich Peninsula shopping park on 20th March 2005. The bus was
delivered to Plumstead garage in December 2003. |

Myllennium appears to have received new front panels when seen on 16th April
at Greenwich Peninsula shopping park. These buses are the mainstay of route
486 (Bexleyheath and North Greenwich via Shooters Hill) although other
Bexleyheath vehicles occasionally appear on the route - see above.
