Bygone Buses

Bygone Buses, based in Biddenden, Kent operated a network of services in Maidstone and the Teise Valley in competition with Boro'line

Bygone sold their stage carriage operations to Maidstone & District in 1993. Some of Bygone's routes, including the 82 between Park Wood and Maidstone Hospital were taken on by Nu Venture coaches in 1998.

Bygone Leyland Leopard/Marshall 232 (JHA232L) passes the West End pub in Marden, working a lunchtime journey between Maidstone and Goudhurst. The number in the destination display refers to the running number - Bygone did not use service numbers except within Maidstone in later years.
Former M&D Bristol VRT/ECW (GKL826N), seen in Maidstone High Street with a journey to Shepway and Senacre Wood. As noted above, the number in the destination display is the running number. This bus was new to Maidstone & District.
